So when they do interview some people who knew her as a younger woman, they have some interesting contradictions to what she claimed about her life.
For example, she claimed that she'd speak fluent English and fluent Filipino, as most people in the Philippines do, and very little man.
Mandarin.
And people who knew her younger said, well, actually, a Filipino didn't seem very good, and her English was even worse, but she spoke excellent Mandarin.
What?
What?
She spoke an excellent Mandarin her whole life.
What and they discover around the time of the trial starting, they discover a record of a woman who's applying for some sort of official recognition in a different part of the Philippines.
Who shares her name and her birthdate?
