And in that very first call, when officers arrived at the house for the wellness check, one of them notes a strange smell.

And so is it's a good question, right?
Because if someone tells me that story and I know they have a history of violence and drinking, why am I waiting to call?
But people like that can also have have probably conditioned you to be scared of them.
And so it's just hard to say what anyone would do in that situation because if you're wrong, then you've really angered someone who you think is dangerous.

And I'm not using this person's name because I know they made the tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers, but their name is now everywhere.
