And it takes a year for her to decide maybe I'm not gonna be able to fight this.
And she ends up pleading guilty to second degree murder, tampering with evidence, and forgery.
I saw two ages for her at the time, 60 or 61 years old.
And she was sentenced to 18 years.
And so
I went to Facebook and I'm like, I wonder how his family feels about this sentence.
Because 18 years for a brutal murder that you then tried to keep a secret, you spent all of his money, not all of it, but a lot of it, it's terrible.
And yeah, they felt the same way.
They were, you know, going off on Facebook, like, this is a joke.
And yeah, I think I agree.
The more we work on these kinds of stories and learn about different sentences.
It actually made me, I'm gonna get back to the Craig Thatford case in a minute, but or Dina Thetford case, but it made me think of Brian Barker, who I talked about a while ago, but he's that police officer who burglarized homes and businesses in Illinois, I think it was.
He was sentenced to 40 years.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And no one got hurt.
And no one got hurt.
And he actually had a very traumatic life leading up to that.
That, you know, I can't diagnose him, but I don't know, I think it's pretty clear that he was a troubled person who was conditioned to steal.
