Even that little piece, it really, you know, goes through you, doesn't it?
It's the innocence of it.
And the beauty that Eamon created.
It's interesting to think, you know, he wrote that after coming back from World War I. He was a soldier in the trenches.
And he came back and he wrote that.
And you can see...
he was craving some kind of solace, some kind of comfort.
And he creates this magical place where it's not that he shuns kind of big topics because there's lots of big topics in it.
Like he does look at anxiety and fear and loneliness, all of those things.
But he kind of wraps it all up in this blanket of hope
and comfort and home, I suppose.
That's a big theme in the book.
Absolutely.
And also, as in a lot of children's books, a lot of children's literature, you know, there are no kind of subplots or flashbacks.
Everything is distilled down to purity.
And like one of those things that I found with my own kids, they loved it.
There's a lot of eating in that book.
There's a lot of food and, you know, hunger.
And Pooh's main concern really is getting honey.
