And I remember her saying, but I'm doing two nice things, Mam.

And she said, well, what are they, Sandra?

And she said, well, first of all, I'm giving the baby everything that I can possibly give her.

And then she said, the next nice thing is that I've met these lovely, lovely people.

And, you know, I've obviously been given a gift to be able to make them mum and dad.

They can't do it themselves for whatever reason.

So she said maybe that was what God wanted me to do, to give them the gift of being parents.

So I'm giving them the greatest gift that they can't do for themselves, unfortunately.

So she thought it was a lovely gift to them.

they were going to look after her daughter.

And she was, they were going to be paired and so, and Mam said, oh, that's a lovely way to look at it, Sandra, you know.

I suppose she had to look at it, you know, in a positive way because I don't know.

I suppose I was not having any kids myself.

I don't, I can't, I'm not in a position to comment as to how hard it was or I can only imagine.

Yeah, we can only imagine.

Like I said in the podcast when I was told she'd stand outside the window waiting to get a glimpse of the baby just before she had been given off.

She obviously signed the papers and to hear then that the woman used to come to the window every day with the baby.

And then one day the woman came to the window and no baby.

So she'd walk back to the house town.

Such a sad image.
