So, yeah, pretty scary stuff.

Well, actually, I posted because, you know, I'm the father of a daughter.

I've got nieces.

I've got friends who are women, obviously, like we all do.

And you kind of have to accept that there are men out there who are behaving in this way and they're criminals.

And that's just the long and the short of it.

But within a day or that, two women kind of messaged me on LinkedIn.

One of them had said it happened to her some time ago.

One other lady who is a very fine professional said that the same thing happened to four of her friends.

none of them were taken away by ambulance but they all passed out and were extremely sick for a few days and fortunately for them there was loved ones around them who recognised it wasn't normal for them and were able to take them away so it's I don't know this area at all well I should say but this is something which is much more prevalent than I ever imagined Well I was just going to say I mean one case is an isolated incident but you have documented six cases there now that speaks to something a little bit more organised doesn't it?

Yeah, it would seem to be.

I mean, presumably whatever drug they're using, these guys, it's not obviously prescribed.

They're getting it from someplace, maybe the internet, probably the internet.

And they're inside in nightclothes and poles at night and with this stuff on them.

So, yeah, it's a very serious problem.

I think from what I understand from speaking to friends and family since,

younger people now like you know teenagers and people in their early 20s that they're smart enough now to realize that you know when they're out with their friends are putting these kind of paper caps over their glasses and with a little hole in the middle for a straw um i wasn't aware of that either but um yeah they are aware of it the younger people are aware of it um all the people like me weren't i had heard of spiking obviously i just didn't realize i was quite so prevalent
