What this could do is help employees who don't want to leave their jobs out of fear that they won't get it back and
and do an online MBA that'll allow them to maybe get that promotion, or maybe they'll feel more secure in their current job and avoid a wave of layoffs.
That's, again, that's kind of one of the draws of the online MBAs.
You can keep your job.
You know, this is something you can come home from work and do at nights.
You can do on the weekends.
So it's a little bit different in that regards.
And I think that is one of the attraction to students is you don't have to
kind of reset your career.
And that's one of the big points in that story was that two year MBAs are the ones that aren't getting as recruited as heavily as they were in the past.
So with an online degree, you don't have that same fear.
Instead, you might be trying to move up the ladder at your employer.

It usually comes with the promise of a big salary boost.

And people go get an MBA for, it can double your salary, triple your salary.
It can launch you through the corporate ranks.
Well, part of the reason that firms don't want to hire second MBAs that didn't intern with them is there's a little bit more uncertainty about what's going to happen these next four to five months.
Are we going to see another surge in the virus?
How long is this economic downturn going to continue?
So what firms are doing is saying, look, we're going to make offers to our interns that have gone through our onboarding process, that have been with the firm for a little while, and we're just going to hire those students.
