In this case, we've really brought the receipts.

And the beauty of this story is that the receipts came from the city of Detroit.

So the evidence that we were working on was provided to us by the city of Detroit.

And in the article, we go into a little bit more detail.

But the thing that we've been primarily focused on since September, this has been a nine months long project, is looking at the absentee ballot envelopes in the state of Michigan.

You cannot vote absentee without an accompanying absentee ballot envelope on the outside of the envelope.

The voter has to sign the envelope and date it, and it has to be stamped by an official stamp at the clerk's office, too.

And then it also has to include the ballot number that's inside the envelope.

So those are the key checkpoints, the signature on the envelope, and then the ballot number on the outside of the envelope that was written by the clerk's office has to match the ballot number that's inside the envelope.

Otherwise, it's not a legitimate vote or a ballot.

So what we've discovered is that originally when we got the envelopes from the FOIA demand, we discovered that we had, I think it was 155,000 envelopes.

The reported number from the city of Detroit, the official reported number of absentee ballots that were counted was 174,384.

So we already knew that we were working with a large deficit.

What we didn't know is how large that number would be.

We had to make sure that our numbers were accurate.

We were not going to release this report until we knew that those numbers were accurate.

26,901 is the actual number.
