He was playing so well.

And we hadn't started the season yet.

I get that.

But still, there was so much promise for that team.

Our defense was lights out.

Coach Zim had those guys just locked in.

There was so much promise that year that when that happened, it was like the life just got sucked out of the whole team.

And you could feel it the moment it happened.

There was just no words.

No one was saying anything.

No one could move.

Everyone was just like standing there watching and like couldn't move.

Even when he left the field, like no one knew what to do.

And that was really the only moment I've ever been a part of that was like that.

Again, no matter who it was, like that's horrible.

But when it's a guy that you have so much respect for and so much excitement for, when that happens, you just don't even know what to do or say.

And so glad that, I mean, that dude's the best.

I mean, he's still playing.

know coaching high school football come back and playing um and and i know those guys loved them in tampa because uh what a fun guy to have in the locker room but yeah crazy moment i mean i was literally like 10 feet from him i was in the back i was out that play we were just doing like a jog through and it happened like right in front of me and it was interesting because teddy's kind of like
