Then they formed this little company and started booking whoever was on the top 20.

And I said to Irving Felds,

I said, you know, you're a smart guy.

You paid me 200 bucks the last time, and I'm worth more than that.

Not that I was in – because of the lack of help that I had, when pop music was in its infancy stage, I had to fend for myself.

So I would say, I'm worth more than that.
