We changed our name to No Question About That when the kind of term rant became associated with a certain kind of football content that we never were.

Our name was based on an old blog from 2005 in a very different world of the internet.

So I did a Monday Night Live podcast between 2010, the summer of 2010, and December 2021.

I can't believe it's going to be five years at Christmas that I haven't been doing this podcast.

This is completely wild to me.

And in that time, my relationship with football has changed a lot.

So during that period, I was also Bleacher Report correspondent for Man United.

That's how we met, right?

And so that all got out of hand.

I was never trying to be the Bleacher Report correspondent.

correspondent for Man United but that just ended up happening um and so like since I have stopped doing working in football doing a podcast I watch an awful lot less I had a period of time where I hardly watched any football at all um which is mostly because of not just how bad United were but the ways in which they were bad it's like it's it's not the kind of

oh, we don't win the league every year thing because I stuck it out for a solid 10 years of us not winning the league.

And also I supported United for 10 years before they started winning the league because I'm an old man.

So it wasn't that, it was just so grim, the kind of endless discourse, the depth of toxicity of fan culture online, which was like bad when, you know, it was bad when this podcast started and now it's a completely different thing, right?

I was going to say.

Yeah, congratulations, man.

But, you know, every now and again, I'll watch some United games, and then the back half of last season, I watched a lot, because I always liked Michael Carrick.
