What's the mood in Spain then?

The mood is that Spain are big favourites for the tie against Belgium and that there's been a lot of talk of all the interviews to players more like what team would you like to face in the final rather than are you confident against Belgium?

But I think that as long as they keep winning, and they did that against Portugal, there was a bit of an ego boost as well for the nation, as in, we have retired Cristiano Ronaldo from the World Cups.

So I think that this has helped Spain into forgetting that they are possibly not at their best, but they are still one of the most dangerous sides in Europe, for sure.

I think that it's one of these clichés that the biggest enemy is Spain themselves.

So they have in their own selves their biggest enemies.

And what is that?

basically, that overconfidence can make them pay a price, I would say.

Yeah, I think that, and I go back to the Cape Verde game, I think that this was a warning sign for them, a wake-up call, and that this should help them into not facing those games with the sort of relaxation that you would expect.
