And, yeah, I mean, as I say, you've got to do quite a bit just to be licensed.
But then you've got to do even more to become a certified financial planner.
So someone who's done that shows a commitment to the profession, I suppose.
And actually, you've prompted me now.
Another one that you could look at too, there's the Ethical Advisor, no, what's it called?
Responsible Investment Association of Australasia, RIA, R-I-A-A.
They've got to find a planner tool as well.
And in fact, the Ethical Advisors Co-op might do too.
Yeah, so there's a few industry associations like that.
Yep, that could be a way to go.
Yeah, I mean, I think really you'd have to, you know, you go in.
I mean, something sparked your reason to want to book an appointment in the first place.
So I guess you'd go in and the planner's normally going to ask, you know, what brings you in?
How can I help?
That's usually where things start.
And so then you need to, all right, well, I've come in because of this life circumstance or this is what's going on in my life.
And then have a chat, spend an hour with them usually and, all right, get a feel for, yeah, I think this person's listening to me or, no, I didn't like the vibe.
That's kind of a large part of it.
You've got to feel that you can build a relationship over time with someone and feel that you can trust them.
