Every time I'm down in Parliament House or whatever, this is a nodding heads thing.
Everyone says we want our kids and grandkids to learn finance.
financial literacy.
It's a no-brainer.
So what we need to do, though, we need, number one, to understand that the school system is very stretched and very stressed.
And I get the role of a teacher.
I look what my grandkids are learning in school.
I teach them to do an extraordinary job.
It's just unbelievable.
And to say to them, now, by the way, you need to do 40 minutes of financial literacy a day.
We need a more sophisticated approach to that, James.
Because teachers want to do it, schools want to do it, principals want to do it.

We've got all the pieces we need.
We've got tons of material.
And we need as a nation to say, we commit, as we may be doing with technology or startups or entrepreneurial behaviour,
You actually need leadership that says, we all agree.
No one's arguing anyway.
Let's sit down and work out inside a busy school program.
How do we implement financial literacy in a way that doesn't stress teachers any further?
