Andy you didn't ever go into the coaching great career but it was the media for you at Clyde then at Sky and now here as well you gave me a wonderful opportunity at another station Paul and then I was able to build things you know I quite enjoy writing I wrote a column for a Sunday newspaper and then
You know, I got asked on to the old Scotsport with Jim Delahunt and Archie Macpherson and... Shwepped away.
And, yeah, and then moved on to Sky and I was doing that Scottish stuff for, what, the best part of 14 years, but...
I really enjoy it.
I was down in Wolves last weekend doing that game.
I'm down in Sunderland next weekend.
I really enjoy doing my co-commentaries and getting a taste of football in Scotland and in England.
Is he any good at it, Barry?
I remember Barry going and playing with Aloua and they were part-time.
And I found it really tough because I was used to putting demands on every single one of my teammates.
You know, at Motherwell, at Celtic, at Bolton, Sheffield United.
You'd put demands on your teammates.
These guys had been working all day.
Some of them on the road, some of them really, you know, jobs that were...
taxing for for the body and i'm asking them to do you know give us a bit more in training and you can't it's it's too tough so um yeah it's a it's a big change going from full-time to part-time and um i've got so much admiration for those guys who who do it turn up every week to training uh part-time maybe a couple of nights a week and then the game at the weekend of course
And of course, Barry, you were so used to, you know, like Andy, just different colours at Rangers, Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham City, Blackpool.
But you were used to the top class facilities and getting pampered.
Players are really looked after, aren't they?
And then you'd come in here for the Go Radio football show with Burger King and...
Well, you did sometimes as well in a Whopper Wednesday.
