I don't want to put it into such a negative light that you are just hanging on for the whole game.
But you do need to get through that first 10 minutes of intense pressure, I think, that you'll see from Morocco.
I think he can impact the game.
My feeling is that just knowing the history of players who have come back from long periods of not being 90-minute fit, which he clearly isn't, is like my guess is he's got 30 good minutes in him.
So it doesn't seem to me as if you'd use those from the start.
You try to use those to impact the games he did against South Africa coming on later with a view towards if that game is close and Canada could tie or see it through at that point.
that you might have another 30 that you have to play with them and then push as far as you can.
But I agree with what you said there, Jeff, is that
the goal comes from the right side, but a lot of attention was focused on Fonzie.
It's just a belief.
I think that he brought to the team as well.
Suddenly they seem to play with a little bit more of a lifted spirit.
Uh, the goal comes down the right side, but Fonzie on the left side made a couple of really good initial plays that ball into the center of the field for Jonathan David, that little slip pass for Jonathan David as well.
It was a, an excellent bit of innovation that we didn't just, we didn't see that from Liam Miller, unfortunately.
Um,
everything up until the edge of the area Liam Miller's doing a pretty good job and Tejan Buchanan's got to get himself going obviously down the right hand side but as soon as Alphonso Davies comes into the game you get that little bit of difference maker that I kind of felt the only way that Canada would ever get that ahead of the tournament was maybe from a Marcelo Flores because you need an x-factor every now and then to break a game and I felt like Fonzie did that for Canada
I think so, too.
I think Ali Ahmed...
He hasn't been phenomenal this tournament.
I know Jesse Marsh was a little disappointed with the pressure down the left-hand side against Switzerland in that first game that Ali Ahmed started.
