And the way it was booked was we never got overexposed.

I looked at how they booked Andre in the AWA especially.

They'd only bring him in at Christmastime.

They'd bring him in at Thanksgiving, have battle royal, and then by the time he'd leave, he'd be wrestling the champion on Christmas.

And so he was only there one month.

People would come to see him like crazy.

And that was the way I envisioned the road warriors being brought.

Just bring us in, let us hot shot it, come back a couple times, and then forget about it for a year again.

So we go to all those different territories and do the same thing all over again.

Never overexpose.

And the place is sold out.

And it's in the big auditorium.

And, you know, everybody that was there was there to see us.

And we were really over.

I mean, over, over.

And Vern had a different vision for the Fantastics than he had for us.

And I could tell the guys weren't happy.

And right before we go through the curtain, Hawk says, this just ain't right.
