Wow.
It started out as a pinprick on the back of one of my thighs, and over the space of about six months, grew to the size of a 50-cent coin or an old 50-cent coin.
Started bleeding, so I went to the doctor, and immediately they took me in and cut it out of the back of my leg, and it came back cancerous.
And then they had a look at, because I'm ginger and pale skin, they had a look at the rest of my body and they said, oh, there's melanoma all over it.
So they just started cutting, cutting and cutting.
And that went on for about two years.
Wow.
What's the... No, in the end, I'd been doing it for so long that I just said, nah, stop it.
and I just keep an eye on it now and if any of them grow then I'll go back to the doctor and go hey have a look at this one and if it is it is if it's not it's not so do you how often were you going to get mole maps and stuff now then so I got because I was so high risk I didn't they did a
medical photography thing on me so it wasn't a mole mat and they measured them all and everything so I just go back in there and they look at the particular mole that's on my body and they say oh yeah it's growing it hasn't grown Brandon just texts through listening to your chat Mark and he goes might be a silly question but does he wear sunscreen or did you?
No and I was told by the doctor I was told by the specialist that if I
wear UV-resistant clothing and SPF 50 that are not supposed to be in the sun for more than 10 minutes.
Yeah, it is almost impossible, so I sort of
gave up and like i do wear sunscreen and i've got a daughter who's ginger and i make her wear sunscreen whenever she goes outside and shit because i learned that when when if you do unfortunately get sunburned the sun it doesn't matter if your sunburn say on the top of your hand it'll affect like a mole on your leg like it doesn't matter it's crazy they said yeah they said to me once you've got it you'll never get rid of it and that's skin cancer it's
So you've just got to keep an eye on it.
And, yeah, it's just, I don't know, it's just one of those things, I suppose.
And New Zealand's really bad.
Yeah, man.
So I went and did 12 months in Africa, and I never got sunburned once, whereas I stand out in the sun in New Zealand for 10 minutes, and I'm like a beetroot.
