If you can get into apprenticeship, well, look, that's about the same as going to college.
It's years of study.
You know, most of it on the job, but some of it in classrooms.
So you can't escape the need for post-secondary education, eat at least a little bit of it.
And uh you know, there is help on the way.
Um
The the the current administration passed the workforce Pell program that will provide for the first time students who are taking short-term credential uh courses, uh they'll cover their costs.
So some of that is happening, but for the most part, if you want to maximize your chance of entering or staying in the middle class, you're gonna need a BA degree.
And all most of the projections are that we're not gonna have enough of them to fill society's needs.
So I take issue with people that say we don't need we don't need college.
We do.
Um most people that say that want their kids to go to college.
So um, but we do need other options also.
And we need uh some change in Washington.
To save the these schools.
you know, that are struggling.
And look, one of the geniuses of uh the American system is that we have decent colleges spread all over the country.
that cater to everybody, not just not just the elite.
This is what separates us.
This is what separated us from Europe in the 20th century.
