I suppose the art really of the job or part of the art of the job is knowing how you can sometimes use those events to shape your agenda or sometimes things present an opportunity.

The White House security kind of insists that those calls don't happen on open lines.

So there's a listening room downstairs past the mismatched old wedding furniture.

There's a listening room downstairs in number 10 where you're not allowed to take your phones in.

So it's a secure environment.

And you go in there to listen to the call.

The PM will probably take it in his office because that's also secure.

So there'll be a host of people on mute on both sides listening to these two guys.
