Unfortunately, some humans had mastered the behavior, and the duo now saw the captain as such a master.
They sniffed the air, and, recognizing the scent of the creatures, moved in the opposite direction.
The creature moved through the woods, following the scent of her prey northeast.
The fear she sensed coming from the metal clad beasts they traveled in was too delicious to not at least try to feed.

She could sense he was close to death, and she had to hurry so she could be the one to dispatch him.
Not that she would not consume him if he died before she could get to him.

Majestic ran beside us.
Snaggle was curled up in the small bed, unusually calm.
