But I got to see what their company is like at their headquarters, like behind the scenes.
And I'll tell you what, man, they very much care about what the maker community thinks of their products and how we use them.
And they asked, like the first thing they asked is, what can we do better?
Literally, what can we do better in terms of service or like products not working the way you expect?
Literally, I'm not joking.
Like that was the first question.
I was like, I don't know what to say because everything I've used, it works great.
So I don't know.
the product that they actually put out into the world buddy boy okay i'll tell you what and they're thinking about making this like a actual kit is um you know i've used uh i've poured metal powders in epoxy as a way to approximate pure metal right and what that allows you to do is to
carve intricate patterns super intricate crazy patterns that you could never fill by hand with like solid metal wire it would take you months of work and what you can do is you can take metal powder mix it with total boats high performance epoxy mix it into like kind of a paste and flow that into all these crazy patterns and after you you know get off the excess
after it cures, you take off the excess, you know, sanding or planing or whatever, and you polish it, it looks like real metal.
If you can get enough of the powder in and flow it in without air bubbles.
And I've been working on this technique for years.
People reach out to me all the time and they're like, what epoxy do you use?
And I'm like, TotalBoat high-performance epoxy.
And the reason I use that is because, and this is the God's honest truth,
I was looking for the lowest viscosity epoxy.
Why?
Because I could add more metal powder before it turned into a paste.
