When you were young, you had no reputation.
You were willing to fail and take risks.
Once you have a reputation as a bad boy, are you willing to fail in the public eye now that you're lauded globally as some amazing artist?
Are you willing to unlearn what you've learned to try something new?
Lehman talked about an unlearning cost to reinvention, that you can't reinvent yourself without unlearning to some degree what you've already learned.

Children, houses, financial burdens, wives, friends, they all expect continuity out of you in some way.
Like you're going to be there for them when they need something.
