He's got lawyers like crazy up there.
They call it the law department in New York City.
There's an army of lawyers.
I used to have to deal with them all the time.
Any one of them would have said, hey, listen, pal, you can't arrest this guy.
There's a federal statute right on point.
So what does Paul do?
I wrote a piece for the Wall Street Journal.
The day it was coming out, he backed off.
So, of course, we had to change it at the last minute.
But here's the point.
The piece said the following, and I bet you somebody told him this.
Mr. Mayor, if you tell the NYPD to go arrest Bibi Netanyahu while he's here and anybody does an overt act, that's the standard.
And it's pretty, you know, it's not a high bar towards doing that.
You're going to get charged with attempted kidnapping.
You're going to get a charge with conspiracy to kidnap.
Right in the statute, you're trying to take this guy, number one, with no legal authority.
Number two, you're talking about transporting him to the Hague.
