And frankly, the defense still deservedly highly touted and successful as it was when you look at the take and give ratio.
That's not necessarily the defense's fault, but they fell off.
And every year we'll see a team with 30-some turnovers like we generated on defense two years ago, and then we're back in the low 20s a year ago.
So takeaways, health of your starters, and it can be the optimistic opportunity of a couple of young cats to work in this defense with Flores right out of the gates.
And it's kind of fun.
And I know it's dream weaving.
And for a team that finds itself on the wrong side of things way more often than it does the other, I know that can be disheartening or you're just irritated about it.
But you ask this team to draft better.
And for good or for worse, we're going to find out if they did so throughout this 2026 season.
