Two weeks from today, I know training camp you guys started a couple of days ago, but two weeks from right now, you guys play a preseason game.
I don't know how much you'll play, but you'll play in the game.
How much is that into your mindset and then knowing six weeks from now, you've got your first game of the season in US Bank Stadium against the Pack.
How do you justify and put all that in context today?
I think it probably depends on the guy you ask, but for me, I've got to live one day at a time, especially during training camp.
You can't get too far-sighted on any of this stuff.
You've got to take every day for what it is and get better and then let the chips fall where they may.
At this stage in your career as new guys, Caleb Tiernan, for instance, a draft pick, over the course of your career, it's again utility master and having to master and you're working on your own craft, even as we now speak at the center spot full-time.
But you get some of the kids in there, right?
And you get the chance to, in some ways, to be the wily veteran and the mentor.
What has it been like having Caleb Tiernan and younger cats in the mix as they're trying to improve their game and be contributors too?
No doubt.
That happened in the blink of an eye.
I mean, I can't believe I'm a wily vet now.
So thank you for the reminder.
But, no, it's great.
Those guys are doing awesome.
They work their tails off.
And so I'm excited to see what those guys got kind of throughout camp.
But, no, they're on the right track.
