So you're there asking yourself, what can I do?
What's best for the team?
What's best for Kilkenny and all these things?
There's lots of things as a former player that I wouldn't be doing.
players i don't ask them about training i don't ask them particularly the fact that we're doing our punditry thing but even if i wasn't i wouldn't be asking them that why because you're putting them in an awkward situation to deflect a question or deny a question any of these things that you don't want them to do but then when they're in this situation where they're down and they're low the first thing i'm thinking about is well how do you how do you get back to where they're meant to be and as a supporter you can be
Constructively critical, absolutely.
But it's a very tough situation for the Tipperary players and panel to be in.
If lads are skating, I'm not saying anybody is, but if lads are going in really hard in them, at the end of the day, nobody goes out to lose.
Nobody goes out to get put out at the Munster Championship or the Leinster Championship.
They're the first lads who want to be getting out, competing, going and winning cups.
But they're obviously very disappointed at the same time.
But we do see it.
We do see a small bit of, we can call it maybe infighting when counties get knocked out.
Fingers are getting pointed.
And it's a very tough situation.
But the funny thing about these things is they can turn, they can do 180s very quickly.
Like Tipperary win the All-Ireland last year.
Huge celebrations.
Look where we are now where there's a little bit of fighting.
They have great teams coming through.
