were leaking goals and that doesn't just disappear overnight and you can you know you can amend that a small bit and correct it and they did against Tipperary let's say and obviously a few lads came back Conlon and McInerney and these boys came back but you don't just suddenly wipe that completely clear like there will be cracks there if a team of even a higher standard than Tipperary as we had in Cork can go at them and poke and prod and as well

over a 70 minute period you might sustain it for a small bit but you can't sustain it for 70 minutes Cork were just outstanding and they completely their scores they shot the lights out I actually thought the Clare subs that came on had a really good impact Shane Meehan in particular do you know you'll be certainly looking to start the next day but yeah I just think that

clare just weren't good on the day and it was nothing to do with going down and planning that listen we'll we'll take our foot off the gas here um and we'll we'll go into the quarter final and we'll see from there teams just don't do that and i think if you are doing that you put out you're a third string team not even a second string team you know they put out a good team so um no it's corkwood a better team claire didn't get to the pitch of it and we've seen claire a few times this year just not come to the pitch of the game so i think this was just another incident but again

I suppose bringing a message forward from last week the more Clare goes on and I said about Dublin at the start I think Clare do get dangerous and Clare showed I think in 2024 that once they get into the All-Ireland quarter or the All-Ireland series they're very good at just winning individual matches like a standalone match what do we have to do to win that and to have the personnel to

to go and do that as well.

The weekend, they just had a poor match and I think he had to just stand over and take ownership there.

It's up to Brian Lowe now to turn around and say, well, what is my best team?

And maybe do a motivational job like he did against Tipperary.

Against Tipperary, they were absolutely brilliant and they really came to the pitch of it.

They just weren't anywhere near that against Cork.

Maybe in the first 10 minutes they were, but really after that, they weren't.

So, I wouldn't buy any of that crack again of, you know, and Skell, I'll hand it on to you, but like, teams just don't do that.

Teams don't go...

Sure, they met in the league, met in the league final, met in the round of Limerick, or round of... It'd be five.
