I think Limerick pulled out two lads into the middle.

I was awestruck by their puck out structure.

I kept looking at it.

When Clare had a puck out, Limerick formed this kind of U-shape, or an N-shape, whatever you want to call it, with a couple of guys in the middle.

And it kind of totally blocked off the middle section and forced Clare to go wide.

And then the minute the puck out was taken, their shape reformed again.

It was fantastic to watch.

They've done something different now in the second half, whereby they're forcing Clare into a spot for the puck out.

They wanted Clare to go, let's say, long down here to the wing-backs where they've got big men and bodies.

And so they snuffed out an awful lot of the bodies.

or the space up here.

In the first half, flip that round, it first felt like Clare could work it in the back.

They had a spare man.

You saw Jim O'Dwine, John Connolly at midfield, coming out here, Farrell, etc.

And they could pick spots.
