The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says fuel may leak from the fuel filler cap if the tank is near full and exposed to high temperatures raising pressure inside the tank.

Vehicle owners are being told to park outside and keep fuel levels below a half tank until a dealer replaces the fuel cap gasket free of charge.
