It was suspending leases for at least 90 days on the five offshore wind projects because of what they term national security concerns.

But New York's AG said Sunrise Wind and Empire Wind had already cleared more than a decade of security and safety reviews by federal, state, and local authorities.

Tropical storm alerts are set for the southeast U.S.

coast as a looming storm system is on its way to becoming future Hurricane Imelda.

Fox Weather's Britta Merwin, Tropical Storm Alerts already posted along the eastern Florida coast, and South Carolina has declared a preemptive state of emergency.
