People ask me all the time, will soccer make it in America?
Soccer has made it in America.
It's just bifurcated.
You have people watching the Premier League.
You have people watching League MX.
You have people who watch just the national teams.
You have people who watch Champions League or play FIFA or are just involved in youth soccer.
The sport is here and it matters, right?
And we've even seen the pop culture crossovers with Ted Lasso and Welcome to Wrexham.
It exists everywhere.
So that part of it, I have no doubt, will continue to be developed and grown.
And I think the culture will continue to grow and develop, which is critical to start to close the gap with the rest of the world.
MLS, I think, absolutely can get there.
I may be more cautiously optimistic that they'll get there.
I don't think they'll get there as quickly as I want them, but that doesn't mean that they won't get there in 10 to 15 years.
The question is going to be, do they make these changes fast enough to hold off League MX, which is going to centralize its media rights and get a ton of revenue from that because millions of people watch.
It's the most watched soccer league in America is League MX.
So their media rights deal will be massive if they get their ducks in a row, which they haven't yet.
The Premier League is the second most watched league in this country.
