didn't respond to it very well in the first half.
Australia really got after Pulisic.
They were kicking him.
They were fouling him.
And actually, they injured him and knocked him out of the game.
And at halftime, Pochettino came in and talked to the team and said, we're Americans.
We don't take crap.
I'll use the word crap.
from anyone and and really his point was what are you what are you going to do about the fact that they've come into your house in denver and they're punching you in the mouth are you going to sit here and take it or are you going to fight back and you know the us came out they played much better in the second half they won the game but i think they have an understanding now that australia is not a team that will be bullied they're a team that's looking to bully you and you have to be able to to punch back like pochettino said so i expect this game to be physical from the off
