So the idea of like right to life and ending your life with dignity when you want to was a thing that we wanted to explore.

And we, you know, the show was at its heart about these two people that have different opinions and they grapple with things and the grist is like what makes them both better.

And we were like, well, what the ultimate one is life and death.

So we pitched that.
