So, yeah, FC Vaduz have won their 52nd Liechtenstein Cup, which is a world record.
No other team has won their domestic cup that many times.
And the reason they tend to win it every year is because they're the only professional team in Liechtenstein.
So Liechtenstein has no league.
All their teams have to play in the Swiss system.
FC Verduz are in the Swiss second tier.
They actually pay a lot of money to play in that division.
They're actually on course for promotion.
So FC Vedderts just basically batter everyone every single year.
But this year, it was a lot more dramatic than usual.
They almost lost.
They only won 4-3 against Eschenbauer.
But you see, because Liechtenstein has no league, it's the only UEFA country without a league, this puts them into Europe every year.
And every year they win it.
They've won 12 in a row.
And this is, yeah, number 52 for FC Vedderts.
Well, they're actually a very Liechtenstein-heavy team, but the team they're playing against, Eschenmauern, is almost entirely foreigners a lot.
They've got players from all over the place, including a Brazilian called Fernando Timbo, who you can only imagine is just completely at a loss as to how he found himself in the mountains of central, well, it's the mountains of Europe, right?
It doesn't look like a normal place to be in, does it?
Well, I'm certainly relieved because I haven't seen my family since June, and that means I'll be able to be with my two young boys for Christmas.
