It's the history of Mandy and Roy.
It's the birth of Isabella.
It's the history of Mandy, Roy, and the narrator.
It's the story of the narrator and her husband.
It's the story of this era of Australia with backpackers.
And there's just so many, again, like so many layers of time going on in the story.
And I'm just really, I admire it deeply.
And it lends itself to this like very rich reading experience.

It subverts that expectation where, you know, if you are going to, you think, you know, if you were aware that this was a serial killer story, you'd sort of think, you know, oh, well, we'll focus on that or we'll focus on Daniel and S or, you know, or, but again, it just, it sort of avoids what we think of as like the central part of a story.
Yeah, absolutely.
And then I think it's the page before where she's talking about Sabina and Daniel weren't the only people who were victims of the killer, right?
There are many more.
This would go on.
There'd be trashy books, TV movies about all this.
