The FBI confirming that this search is connected to an ongoing investigation.
And a source tells CNN that this is part of an effort by the Justice Department to seize election records and pursue allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Now, the metro Atlanta area is, of course, the centerpiece of President Trump's baseless claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him.
The Justice Department has previously sued the county to try to obtain these records.
That litigation is ongoing.
