Maybe the fact that he was going to go serve his country. Or maybe it was the fact that not a single one of Adrian's friends mentioned him as suspicious. Remember how she supposedly lied to Tracy on the phone that night and told him she was speaking to an old classmate named Brian McMillan, the one who had a crush on her and had dropped out of school? Well, Tracy tells police, hey, you gotta look into him too.
