And Garda have been brought to court in relation to actions that they've taken in the pursuit of individuals.

I'm asking for people to be properly trained to be on a Garda licence and then have the defence of that.

And the people who are doing that job are telling me, no, they don't and they won't do it either.

It is not purely a guard operational element because you brought in half the solution and the key element is missing.

In terms of registration plates, so if I'm driving up the N2 at the moment, you know, there's a distance speed camera.
So after, you know, I get clocked when I pass it, the first camera after 10 kilometres, if I reach the second one after 10 kilometres in a certain time, it's clear that I've broken the speed limit.
If there's a registration plate on a scooter, it going down, you know, the Stalorgan dual carriage or whatever.
then it can be very clear that that deterrent is there.
And here's the key, because nobody wants anybody going to jail.
Nobody wants anybody getting a fine.
We want a deterrent.
