He um had really struggled in kindergarten.
And he did start early.
He is an October baby.
Um, but we knew he was really smart and we didn't really realize that we had anything going on other than kind of a really active boy, you know?
And so
Um kindergarten was super rough.
And he was constantly in trouble, the teacher was constantly
calling me, but nobody ever said, Hey, there might be something to this.
It was always you didn't prepare him for kindergarten, you know, he wasn't ready for this.
You need to talk to him at home.
You need to give him chores so he learns responsibility.
You know, all of these excuses
Um, for why he was having all this troublesome behavior and and most of it really was hyperactivity and inattention.
You know, he wanted to run around that awesome room and check everything out.
He didn't want to be on a schedule.
He didn't want to do what everybody else was doing, you know, and so
Um, it was a real issue for the teacher.
And so we switched schools because that was a charter school and they had made some decisions that we certainly didn't agree with, like
