You know, is this a good thing?

Um, and now I have the opposite problem.

Now I need him to quit eating all the time and even though he's taking a stimulant.

You know, that journey was kind of hard for us, but it did make a difference for him.

It helped him to really be uh have an opportunity to some success.

And after a couple of years one summer I was like, Okay, I wanna see where we are.

Let's take a couple of weeks off and see if he still really needs it.

And after four days he asked for it back.

I would say eight or nine years old, probably nine at the time.

He asked.

For it back.

Because he couldn't focus on anything.

You know, he couldn't sit down and build something out of Legos because he couldn't sit there long enough.

He couldn't focus on it long enough.

So it wasn't even a matter of, you know, schoolwork.

It wasn't a matter of, you know, following instructions or meeting expectations or anything like that.

He just could tell himself that he couldn't enjoy the things that he usually did that he wanted to.

Because he didn't have that focus.
