The assists are broadly similar.

But I had a look at the amount of shots he was taking last season.

It's almost double.

He was getting into those positions where, and I think this is where a lot of fans got frustrated with him, ignoring the full-back and just getting a shot off.

And it was almost a bit of a desperation to his play, I think, where he's thinking, I've got to get a shot of here and hit the top corner.

And more often than not,

You know, he wasn't finding the top corner or even working the goalkeeper.

They were flying over the barn, I think.

You know, that, for me, was one of those things where it just lived long in the memory through the season.

You could just think of him doing that over and over again.

He's come back.

I'm like you, Rob, give the manager some credit as well.

Give him a lot of credit, though.

And I think it's easy to then look at seasons and go...

If he has a good one in this campaign, you can almost put the last one and go, well, it's one of them.

Everyone can have a bad season.

There's a lot of mitigation.

We all know what happened in the summer.

Not to go into that again, but we all know there was tough times for some of those footballers.

And yes, you want them to come through it maybe slightly differently in terms of back end of the season.
