Obviously, ultimately it leads to Liverpool having a manager who goes and wins his league in his first season.

So that does change depending on whether you want to give him any credit for that or not.

Because as I say, they both joined the club on the same day.

But I think in terms of this summer and on your point around net spend, Liverpool's net spend was the highest in the league this summer, which you do find a little bit hard to believe when you think about how many holes they've been potentially left with.

Yes, you can talk about the XI being strong.

I think maybe we'd all make tweaks to the XI, but certainly on paper, it looks capable of taking on most teams in the division.

But I think it's back to the point at the start of the show, when you talk about maybe losing an Isaac or one or two others for a period of time, you are looking at a very, very unbalanced squad.

And the strategy in the summer felt anything but joined up.

And it just didn't feel in any way strategic at all.

It felt like Liverpool were just...

kind of jumping from one thing to another.

Lots of different types of players, different age profiles, different types of footballers, kick with different feet.

I'm talking about the right-hand side here now, primarily.

It never felt particularly like Liverpool had a really kind of fixed eye on what they wanted after they lose out on, you know, their mandate to Real Madrid.

It just felt very, very haphazard.

And I think we can all look at the team and the squad now, as we said before, and think, well, actually, they are still gaping holes.

So, we'll have to wait and see.
