So you want him to hit the ground running.

And I think the best way to do that and to enable that to happen is to put him in his preferred position.

And we know that's probably left-hand side.

So I think they'll bring him in, they'll put him left-hand side most of the time, but they'll do a little bit of jiggery-pokey with one or two others as well.

I think the options, right-hand side, just in terms of what's out there, Rob, there's not loads and loads of names.

People will talk about Ryan for Bournemouth, obviously.

And I think that's an interesting point because I think if you think about someone like Ryan, who obviously, you know, is a player with a lot of quality, but he's not been at Bournemouth a long time, has he?

So I think in terms of just getting him out for the right price after a matter of being there months might be tricky.

So maybe that's why Liverpool have got an eye on next season in terms of, you know, pulling the trigger on him then.

They probably maybe won't do two absolute worldies in the kind of one summer, both left and right.

But I just think

The idea of having maybe a right footer on the left-hand side, but it doesn't necessarily mean you've got to have a left footer on the other side because I think if you're asking Alexander Izak, he wouldn't mind at times for a lad to be going to have the right-hand side and putting a fucking ball in with his right foot so he can get on the end of it.

I think if you're going to service that big man in the way he wants...

We know the joy he had at Newcastle at times.

He will want balls coming into the box and sometimes it's just a little bit easier if someone's going down the right-hand side on their preferred foot that they can just whip it in as opposed to having to chop all the time and then try and put one in.

So I just think there'll be times where, and maybe it is game dependence, but there'll be times when actually Liverpool maybe look to do a little bit more of that than it's both wide players inverting.

I think the release clause for him is what gets your attention, isn't it?

Because you think, well, actually, that's a deal, and you can just probably go and do next year without any huge negotiation.

Yeah, because the release clause is in there.
