But when I get to leave the field yesterday and go back to my place and
and know that this is going to be my routine for the next six pluses.
It's also kind of hard to comprehend, but that's what I'm most excited about.
And that's kind of what makes me the most emotional when it comes to handling this new thing is just knowing that I'm really lucky and I get to be in a really, really amazing city and I get to be around
incredible people every single day.
So go to Cheryl.
I mean, yeah, the fans have never...
never not given me support even in 24 when I was scuffling and I wasn't playing every day it has only ever been support from from that part of the the Cubs family so the elevation yesterday was cool but I've had some pretty cool ones too like
They show up every day and I get to take a lot of pride in playing in front of them and having thousands of people over my shoulder just cheering for us and for the whole team.
Yeah, well, I think that's a big blessing that comes from this.
don't know everybody's everybody's been trying to get me to play free for a long time and um if i ever didn't it wasn't because i didn't have a deal or i knew i'd have to go through arbitration and all that stuff these are very easy uh easy people to deal with when it comes to just day-to-day interaction and then stuff like this so the security is nice um
But again, knowing that I just get to keep learning how to be a Cub, and I get to do that for a very long time.
And I think that's the nicest part about being able to go out and play now, is I get to look at Nico and be like, oh, well, we're going to be doing this together for a long time now.
Dan's be braggy.
Yes, getting to play free is going to be really cool, but getting to play with
I think this is one of the most unique baseball cities in the world.
I would argue it's the best.
But, you know, I think...
What Mr. Ricketts has done so well is put this whole thing together with with Wrigleyville and Make a relatively big city feel very small when it comes to who they support and it feels very personal.
I think I Think that's been the coolest thing for me to learn about Cubs fans is is the attention that they pay is real They're not you know
