Marvel has been down a little bit in terms of the quality of their films, but Spider-Man's one of those trusted brands that whether you're a diehard fan or just a casual blockbuster attendee, you know what you're getting from the Spider-Man films, and people are hungry for that in the summertime.

Particularly appealing.
He is giving a version of Peter Parker and Spider-Man that readers of the comics and fans of the movies have grown to love, which is a beaten-down, down on his luck, poor, broke, alone.
Like this is the version of Spider-Man that we find relatable.
It's not Superman.
It's not Batman who's a billionaire with all the toys at his disposal.
The Tom Hardy Venom franchise didn't necessarily connect.
Sony tried to make film franchises out of supporting characters like Morbius and Madam Webb.
And the audience was vocal about the fact that they did not like those films and did not want to see that bit concluded.
The Spider-Man films that Tom Holland has been in have benefited from the fact that Marvel Studios is collaborating with Sony on a creative standpoint to make sure that they are as close to the comics as they can be.
