Saudi Arabia has one of the largest economies in the Middle East, but its wealth still comes largely from the country's huge oil reserves.
So it's no surprise that the massive disruption as a result of the US and Israel's war with Iran has led to an economic downturn.
It shrunk by almost 5% between April and June compared to the same period last year.
And much as Saudi Arabia would prefer for the war to end, it's being dragged further into the conflict.
For more on the economic downturn, I spoke to our Middle East analyst, Sebastian Usher.
So given all that, you'd think that the Saudis would want to get themselves out of this war perhaps quicker, sooner rather than later.
But that's not what's been happening.
