They were tiny.
And there was one black and white television in the room which only showed the big Lebowski on continuous loop.
Now, I love this place.
Now, in fairness, if you'd turned up expecting the Marriott...
You would have been incandescent.
So one of the things to remember is that people's enjoyment of things is often a product of their expectation as much as it is of any objective reality.
But actually what it tells you is don't look so much at the average stars.
Just read a few of the reviews and you'll very quickly see if there's some feature that everybody hates.
And you can see through all the kind of nonsense to some extent, can't you?
I agree that decontextualised scores are actually quite dangerous.
Anybody's allowed to complain about a business, but businesses aren't really allowed to complain about their customers, and 5% of customers are mad.
