I do get tired and my eyes do get tired, but I manage, but I cope.

Oh, very much, yeah.

I doubt that I can, as I say, there are two more books somewhere between the pipeline, drawing board and the pipeline.

I very much doubt that I can write any more.

I can't see the toolbar.

When I'm writing a column for the Newtown Review of Books, which I do every week, you won't believe it, but I work in 24-point bold and I still lose the cursor.

So, no, writing has become physically very, very difficult and I don't think I could tackle a book anymore.

And I couldn't, not that there's a lot of research in the Hardy books, but there is some and I wouldn't be able to tackle that anymore.

It's too hard.

So the whole enterprise is tapering down, shall we say.
