Yeah, and part of the challenge with that is there was always a kind of a deal.

We'll bring you on as a graduate and we'll do a lot of time spending training you up.

But at the same time, you're doing a lot of, you know, the kind of basic work that has to be done.

If a lot of that basic work can now be taken over by technology, there's a bit of a, well, why are we hiring you in the first place?

What most enlightened companies are thinking is, hang on, we need a pipeline firstly to get through the organization.

But more importantly than that, the people who use AI and know it better than anyone else are generally the younger people coming into the workforce.

And if a company is trying to grow, you can grow by having more people and better technology.

So combining the two together.

So I'd like to think that they would actually think that it is worth the investment in these graduates because of the longer term.

Well, firstly, there are certain areas like this, Defence Forces, the Garda, that are already saying you can work up to 70.

So if you have those sorts of rules in place, they don't change.

This is really trying to bridge that one year gap that a lot of people have between when their pension kicks in and when they retire.

So the key thing to understand is you've a right to request to stay on.

The employer has a right to say no in certain circumstances, let's say health and safety or something like that.

But in general, it just gives employers who are employees who maybe want to work that little bit longer who can or who want to bridge that one year gap.

Yeah, I mean, it would be rare that they would give a reason that wouldn't be very fair.

And this is what this is going to do.

So it would have to be a reason that it was actually going to be unfit for you to stay and work.

So the onus is very much on the employer now.
